The musical material for this release was recorded during the two recording sessions between concert tours in summer and autumn of 2019. The intention of this album (and of a new artistic direction of the band in comparison with the debut “Tyče nevyhnutelné” from 2018) was a shift to even more raw musical expression. That is to even more emphasize the diversion from “lyrical” forms of modern jazz to earthy and authentic urgency. PQ also expanded the sound of the band by incorporating fender piano.

Both of these albums have their own subtly distinct energy, which proved to be quite shattering when put to one form. Now they are separated into two shorter albums standing next to each other. By the “magic of unwanted” they are both eventually framed by their means of creation, by which the separation became an ex post statement of a simple, uncalculated truth. And we also like these fine synchronicities: Anchors - songs composed and structured, Hearts - songs freely conducted.

These two albums do not stand necessarily as a counterbalance to one and another, but, as indicated above, more like a parallel.
