Trio TRYPTYCH emerged from the improvisational Duo Pilot of guitarist/composer Vladimír Mikláš and drummer Dušan Černák, after the bass/synth player Miloš Klápštĕ joined them. Tryptych uses elements of jazz, progressive rock, noise and ambient in its musical cocktail. The presence of analogue synthesizers creates interesting soundscapes, supported by lively and sophisticated grooves. Improvisational skills, top level of musicianship, strong themes and unique harmonies could be described as "Dark Fusion". That's Tryptych – a musical journey full of surprise and natural, non-forced invention with no musical compromise. Tryptych are holders of the Tais Awards prize in the category "Band". Long awaited album Typotheque is an exciting collection of tracks created during the first creative period of the band.
