UTHANDO is LOVE. Love we seek, have, praise, lose, kill. Love permeates all aspects of life on this planet. Life and love are the themes that resonate in the music of the seven-piece band Uthando. Even though the repertoire emerged fully without concept (randomly, one could say), seeing as coincidence is ubiquitous and, at the same time, THERE ARE NO COINCIDENCES, this album has its own unique character thanks to the suggestive experiencing of strong emotions that each composition provides. The music of Uthando paints life clearly with all its pathos, tragedy, humor, depth and diversity – in short, with all the aspects that are important to the musicians of the collective of Love.
